Ask your doctor.: There is no proven benefit for Hydroxycitric acid (g. cambogia.) for this in any reputable study. There's also no information on safe dosages in people who have liver or kidney problems, pregnant or nursing women, children. Since it doesn't work, why take a chance. If you are still interested in trying it, check with all your doctors and get their okay first. See http://tinyurl.com/lpzb8d6 ...Read more

Since starting on simvastin along with Plavix (clopidogrel) following a mild stroke 7 months ago, prior gout was a nuisance, now chronic, should I switch to lipito?

Debatable: atorvastatin (Lipitor) is a more potent "bad-cholesterol" lowering medication than simvastatin (Zocor), but it's also not as thoroughly tested for stroke prevention as tried-and-true simvastatin, so many neurologists choose to recommend the older, better-known option. Cost often is a factor as well. Either could be a reasonable option depending on your situation: ask your neurologist though. ...Read more

Omeprazole has beneficial effects on your stomach but with the above three medicines I would recommend that you don't take it until you have seen your doctor. ...Read more

Yes, but . . .: While there's some debate regarding prolonged combined use of aspirin & clopidogrel, your combination of meds is pretty much standard of care despite mention of interactions at http://www.drugs.com/interactions-check.php?drug_list=243-0,276-0,705-0,1476-0,1548-0,1615-0, tho luckily none w/melatonin.
