When we should repeat the treatment to kill all parasites...In scabies or pediculosis ? Is that selective of obligatory to repeat ?
Scabies/ Lice: Both r notorious, need complete eradication from body, clothes, sofa, beds, siblings, friends..., i mean must leave your house and contacts. Scabies med. From head/neck to toe, repeat after 7 days; follow instruction clearly. Pediculosis can be in head, armpit, pubic and any hairy areas. Sometime resistant. If i had public lice of scabies, what sort of symptoms could i expect? Would you have bites on hand and penis?

General cleaning: With lice, only areas where the head has touched are at risk. Would wipe the area down and vacuum it. With scabies it is spread to the environment with direct skin contact. Not a good choice: Nonprescription nix (permethrin 1%) is used to treat lice but is not strong enough to cure scabies. Prescription Permethrin 5%(elimite) cream is the most common medication to treat scabies and it works well.
