How long do you bleed if you had an std?

How long do you bleed if you had an std?

Depends: There is no rule for how long you bleed if you've had an STD. It may depend on which STD and whether you were treated appropriately. Most of the time, STDs aren't the cause of abnormal bleeding. Consider being seen if your bleeding is excessively heavy or lasting more than a couple of weeks. Sooner if you have a fever. ...Read more

Can STDs be passed through towels wash cloths toothbrushes (some bleed during then wash it off)eating utensils drinking off each other?

Yes, Some Can: Certain stds can be passed through saliva, mucous, tears, etc. Most are readily passed via blood. If you clean things well, eating utensils, toothbrushes, etc then you will almost eliminate that risk. It would be best to clean those types of things in the dishwasher, on a longer cycle, using hot water and a heated drying end. Don't share those things without cleaning first, as described above. ...Read more

Obviously the chance of STD depends on other things, i.e. your and her sexual lifestyle, other partners, etc. Your girlfriend definitely should should see her doctor about this. You might consider STD testing as well, if any doubt about risk. ...Read more

That would involve a typical evaluation by inserting a speculum to look at the vagina and cervix and possibly using a colposcope to enhance visualization. Sometimes inflamed areas or lesions can bleed after intercourse or even an exam like the above. If recurrent or heavy, eg, call gyn or office rn. ...Read more
