Is There A Waiting Period Between Getting The Shingles Vaccine And Having Facial Laser Treatments
Is there a waiting period between getting the shingles vaccine and having facial laser treatments?
Shingles and laser: You might allow just a few days after the vaccination before undergoing laser treatment, just so that your body's immune system can focus on responding to the vaccine so you get a good response and protection before the immune cells need to be utuilized for the healing process after the laser treatment. Wouldn't be effectiv: A cortisone shot has many benefits but one side effect can be to shut down part of your immune recognition system. By now it might be. Ask your provider to check into it for you or just do it. Second recurrences are certainly not a pleasant prospect and they are possible. Discuss w/ Dr. Best! ...Read more
