Hot flashe, puking feel like burning up, took zofran, (ondansetron) temp normal 99.3 feel hot like pass out. puked every day for a week w/ anti nausea medicen.
Vomiting: Checked HCG? associated diarrhea? if diarrhea could be gastroenteritis, though a week is a long time. May be gastritis with or without H pylori or gallbaldder or hepatitis, ( though w/ this degree of vomiting you should be yellow) .if associated with severe abdominal pain may be pancreatitis. appendix, UTI. Can emend be effective on its own for vomiting and nausea? I cant tolerate zofran (ondansetron) or zofran (ondansetron) class drugs.
Preventively only: Emend s effective when administered ahead of time to prevent the nausea and vomiting associated with chemotherapy but isn't effective after the fact. ANY nausea med rec to take to my GI? Zofran, phernegan, reglan (metoclopramide) & their relations=anaphylaxis. OTC not strong enough. SEVERE nausea w/some vomiting.

HopefullyFindACause: First, double the dose of Zofran (ondansetron). And if you can, chew it up and let it dissolve and get absorbed through your mouth. If that doesn't work you might consider seeing a doctor to make sure nothing serious is going on, especially if you have fever or a headache. Other than Dramamine, other effective medications for nausea require a prescription unless you want to try herbs or homeopathic medications. ...Read more
