Time to...: It is time to be seen if you are having persistent abdominal pain after a virus especially if it pain is getting worse. I see you have IBS which could be this condition acting up but without and exam and worsening of symptoms I am unable to give you a final answer through this platform. See your doctor or go to the nearest urgent care center or ED if pain is severe. ...Read more

Diarrhea from stomach virus on Saturday. Now, Wednesday and I've only gone once. yesterday and it was very little. Why is it so hard to go lately?

Constipation.: It is not unusual to have trouble with frequency of bowel movements after a diarrheal illness. It sometimes can take a week or two for your bowel movements to normalize. I would recommend that you eat more fiber for now, and consider a fiber supplement once a day, such as Metamucil. You should also increase your fluid intake. Your bowel movements will normalize on their own. Good luck. ...Read more

Other thought is to consider environmental toxins like carbon monoxide, etc. ...Read more

See your physician: Most intestinal illness due to an infectious agent is self-limited. Viral infections such as the norovirus, which is most common and accounts for 90% of such illness due to virus, usually resolve within 3-4 days of onset of symptoms. If you are not improving other causes must be entertained and this requires a doctor to get a careful history and perform an exam. Until then drink plenty of fluids. ...Read more
