Migraines: Typically patient's receiving sedation for colonoscopy receive either Midazolam (versed), fentanyl (sublimaze), or Propofol (diprivan) or a combination of the above. Is there a contraceptive pill that a migraine (w/ aura) sufferer can use that will help acne too?
IMO NO: Any OCP is contraindicated (extremely dangerous) in any woman with migraines, let alone migraine with aura. You are at greatly increased risk for a stroke by using them. Hardly worth it. You would be far safer better off with an IUD or baarrier contraceptive. For acne try adding Vitamin A and zinc to your regimen & an acne preparation containing benzoyl peroxide.
