If one had a light course of encephalitis before, is the vaccine against it still needed? Or the organism develops antibodies?

If one had a light course of encephalitis before, is the vaccine against it still needed? Or the organism develops antibodies?

More than one cause: Encephalitis means inflammation of the brain. There are many viruses, bacteria and other organisms that can cause it. If you recover from a mild case of viral encephalitis you are likely immune to that virus but not to a multitude of other viruses. This is a very important vaccine to get. If you are between 11 and 26 years of age (which it looks like you are), you should also have it. ...Read more

If someone has the HPV virus but their pap smear is normal , what treatment is available to get rid of the HPV virus ?

None: It's not possible to eradicate the hpv virus, but you can learn the isotype to see if you have increased risks for cervical dysplasia/cancer. If your cervix looks normal and your pap is normal, just make sure to continue your exams as directed by your doc. Always keep track of any abnormal bleeding or post-coital bleeding and let your doc know this as well, especially of you have high risk hpv. ...Read more

What are the cons of the gardisil shot? Is this vaccine injecting u with the HPV virus?

No Cons: The Gardasil shot is a vaccine that protects you against two low risk hpv types and two high risk types of hpv. The vaccine does not contain any virus. It is quite safe.
