Is oxy elite pro and fish oil safe to take? I am 16 taking oxy elite pro and fish oil, i was wondering if this is safe
First : First of all i would like to say that i think oxyelite pro is unsafe for a 16 year old. It contains a high amount of caffeine, which should definitely be avoided in a young healthy person. Caffeine may seem harmless but is has many serious effects on the body. Just to name a few: restlessness, nervousness, excitement, inability to sleep, flushing of the face (turning red), increased urination, stomach pain, fast or irregular heart beat, disordered thoughts and speech. Also you have to know that caffeine is addictive and can cause a serious withdrawal when coming off of it. Really consider if you want to deal with any of the above possibilities. To answer your question, I do not believe there is an interaction between oxyelite pro and fish oil, however very little research is done in the area since this supplement is not regulated by the fda (food and drug administration). Therefore i always warn patients when taking such supplements. With a healthy diet and exercise regimen you should be able to obtain your goals without these supplements.
