Habit: Usually rocking is a habit...Once in a while it can be a biochemical imbalance in the brain that is either the body trunk's equivalent to a tremor in the arm or even a 'tic'...Which makes us feel 'good' to do and hard to stop ourselves from doing. Also even rarer would be a problem in the coordination center of the brain...Cerebellum. ...Read more

6 years ago i hit my head on the pavement and bled for a couple days. the spot is still sensitive when I touch it. is this bad?

No.: Any injury can cause damage to the superficial nerves in the skin and they may never recover from it. Sometimes people who get a shot in their arm or leg have an area of numbness just from that, that never goes away. It is not common, but it does happen and if it only causes minor symptoms, like sensitivity to touch, it is often no big deal. See your doc to verify it's nothing. ...Read more

No more injuries: If you've had 4 concussions, you shouldn't have any more- avoid activities that could cause another. Wear helmets for any activity where you can and protect your brain at all costs. You should be ok from the concussions you've had thus far, but make sure you have no more. ...Read more

I had gallbladder removal a week ago, and I still hurt badly. There is a very hard spot on my abdomen b/w incisions that feels hot. Is this normal?

Maybe: It's really difficult to determine if it's normal healing without examining in person. If it gets worse and worse prior to your follow up appointment, i would get it checked sooner or go to the er after hours. ...Read more

C-section scars: If you mean the scar on the skin opened, it does not mean that the incision made in the womb to deliver your child opened also. In any event, the scar on the womb is almost certainly healed, but it would be advised to have your next child in a hospital setting, so the monitoring of your labor (if you choose a vaginal delivery attempt) is possible to avoid a tear in the womb during labor. ...Read more

So my moms hand has this one dark spot on it where there was a hole in her glove and she says it itches really bad ?

Need more details: But given what you have said, i suspect she was working outside with gloves on, and now has a spot where there was a hole in the glove and the spot itches.
