My son is 1 year and 1 week old. Can i give him soy or almond milk and tofu now? I'm also still breastfeeding him. Thank you.

If you wish. Know : That he can develop allergies to soy & nuts, the same as to cow's milk. Ask your pediatrician about calcium supplements if he doesn't have 16-21 oz. Whole milk & milk products/day. Juice & almond milk aren't necessary; limit to 4-6 oz/day . He can wean to a double-handled open-mouthed cup now. Age at weaning is a personal decision. Allergic/intolerant : The simple answer would be that baby is intolerant to the foreign protein or other component of the feed. This could be due to an allergy to one of the components or just a digestive rejection. It might also be co-incidental & due to a stomach virus or oher agent but i think that's unlikely. ...Read more

Iam breastfeeding and I want to do the 30 day arbonne program which includes protein shakes, and body cleanse is this safe?

Why take the chance?: The program says it "helps detoxify and cleanse our bodies from the toxins we consume in our daily diet as well as from our environment". In general, claims that supplements make are just claims. It is wisest to beware of products with lots of marketing hype, especially of anybody who says he will cleanse your body of toxins. Nature (or god) made our bodies self-cleansing. ...Read more
