EAT HEALTHY!: Low starch, little sugar, high fiber, plenty of water, good proteins in adequate amounts. And eat your colored veggies and greens. "Rheumatic" disorders can overlap and co-exist in same patient! The risks are SEPARATE and "additive" (no"multiplication" of risks) A healthy life ALWAYS helps your general medical situation and may help LIMIT your RISKS!

Depends: It depends on what medications you are on for your lupus. Acetaminophen is good for any, but non-steroidal inflammatory drugs have to be used with caution and G.I. protection with a proton pump inhibitor if on steroids. Many: As lupus is a multisystem disease many organs can be affected and your questions should be geared to this. Overall your concerns should go to short term and longer term prognosis based on current findings and what your treatment options are.
