Is Rectal Bleeding Symptom Of Ovarian Cancer
Is rectal bleeding a sympt of ovarian cancer? I am getting conflicting info on the web. I read o cancer doesn't erode into the organs so it doesn't cause rectal bleeding. That was from a gyn oncologis
Extremely unlikely: Ovarian cancer can, with enough time, can invade into the rectum and cause bleeding, but it would have to be at advanced stage at that point. In reality, it's rare for ovarian cancer to present with rectal bleeding, especially at your age. Far more likely there is a gastrointestinal issue. See your doctor to be evaluated for this.See 2 more doctor answers

Could a cyst be a sign of ovarian cancer if you have premature ovarian failure? I have awful pain, increased urination and prolonged heavy bleeding.
Heavy periods, bleeding between periods, dull cramping everyday, low back pain. Could it be Ovarian Cancer? Symptoms not normal for me
Discuss with doctor: There are lots of treatment options you can discuss with your doctor. Lysteda is a nonhormone medication designed for heavy periods. Some benefit from birth control pills, patch or nuvaring. Mirena (levonorgestrel) iud can stop your period in some cases. Consider an endometrial ablation such as genesys hta if you are done having children. These can be done in the safely and comfortably in the office.
Usually not: Vaginal bleeding after menopause usually comes from the lining of the uterus. It can be caused by polyps or abnormal cells in the lining of the uterus among other causes. Anyone with bleeding after menopause needs to see their doctor and possibly get an ultrasound and a biopsy of the lining of the uterus.
I'm 17 and overweight. My periods are irregular and for the past 3 weeks ive ben lightly bleeding. I'm a lil bloated sometimes. Can it be ovarian cancer?
No Ovarian cancer!: Ovarian cancer does not affect your menses. But overweight can. So start working to lose weight. This can be done by reducing your daily food intake especially avoiding sweets and rich foods which are laden with Fat (Fried stuff and milk products). Also walk for one or two miles daily. This will help you to lose weight. That will be the best thing you can do in order to feel good and look good!
Should I be worried? 35 yr old, Found 12mm cyst on left ovary that is bleeding into my pelvic cavity. Grandma died (36yrold) from ovarian cancer.
Don't panic: Cysts are very common. Sometimes they rupture and bleed into the pelvis (hemorrhagic cyst). Your body will take care of it. 12mm is a very small cyst. I would advised waiting 4-6 weeks and having a repeat sonogram to check on cyst size. Not sure how much bleeding you're having but signs of anemia to watch out for are dizziness, increasing fatigue, fainting episodes.
Found a 2cm cyst. Bleeding in between period. Extremely loud stomach growling and very bloated for 30 days. I wake up with growling. Ovarian cancer?
It's possible: I assume you mean you have an ovarian cyst. If this was seen on ultrasound, it's likely to be a cyst and not cancer. You are very young, and there are many things that can cause the symptoms you describe. However, bloating is a common symptom among women who are later diagnosed with ovarian cancer. I'd go back to your doctor and emphasize how bloated you've been, and ask the same question!See 1 more doctor answer
Been told I have a 2cm ovarian cyst. Bleeding in between period. Extremely loud stomach growling and very bloated for the past 30 days. Ovarian cancer?
Ovarian cancer: Majority of patients with ovarian cancer present with abdominal pain, distension and fluid build up known as ascites. Some have change in their bowel habits from peritoneal disease. It can cause weight loss, malaise and constitutional symptoms. Some can have symptoms fr metastatic disease. Very few <5 % present with vaginal bleeding.
During sex I bleed I have an ovarian cyst what cause that. And how do you know you have ovarian cancer?
Unlikely: Although night sweats can be associated with malignancy (such as lymphomas) it is less likely to be directly associated with ovarian cancer. A better scenario could be that you are having these symptoms due to fluctuations in your hormone levels. I would recommend that you speak with your gyn and under go hormonal level testing if it is deemed appropriate.
Probably not: There are many causes for one-sided pelvic pain, and it depends on which side. Ovarian cysts, endometriosis, appendicitis, inflammatory bowel disease, urinary stones, pelvic infections, and even simple constipation can cause this. A healthcare provider needs to ask you more questions and examine you. Unless you have risk factors for ovarian cancer, it's low on my list of causes. So go in!See 1 more doctor answer
