Ear wax: Products like Murine, Auro & Debrox contain Carbamide Peroxide. They are made to clean ears. Low concentrations of hydrogen peroxide are sometimes used to loosen wax before it's removal. I personally wouldn't recommend that you start pouring chemicals into your ears. The higher the concentration the more chance there is for tissue damage. Not advised: Carbamide peroxide is essentially hydrogen peroxide. If you are using Ofloxacin otic for external otitis (swimmer's ear), i would defer using carbamide peroxide simultaneously. Rinsing with hydrogen peroxide on a regular basis is not a good idea as it may irritate the soft tissues of your mouth and cause other issues.
