It is fine: I don't think any foods cause diverticulitis. There is no evidence that seeds, nuts, etc can cause diverticulitis. By the time that stuff gets to your colon it is all the same consistency, so I tell my patients not to limit their diet if they have diverticulosis.

Yes, also try...: As my colleagues advise, light therapy is advisable for your baby- it's safe ; effective. It's not unusual for there to be not a lot of breastmilk just 2 days after birth- it can take time to kick in. No: It is not balanced throughout the day. Not enough protein in the morning. A source of carbohydrates would also help. Lunch is mostly complex carbohydrates. Again you need a source of protein, try a yogurt. Dinner is reasonable.

Bloating: If oats cause bloating they will likely do so in any form, try a different source of fiber.

Not necessary: Your body is like a four wheel car. If you have 3 wheels, it's great to add one. If you have all 4 wheels, adding more wheels serves no purpose. The same is true with essential nutrients like vitamins, minerals, fatty and amino acids. Once your body has enough, adding more serves no purpose other than to enrich the people who sold it to you.

Not for anemia: Bleeding from an ulcer or GI malignancy needs to be excluded. Iron deficiency in a male might indicated some kind of malabsorption. If due to celiac disease wheat and oat bran need to be excluded. Another possibility is poor stomach acid from taking acid blocker medications. Smokers can develop iron deficiency anemia from exposure to cadmium. Find the cause of the iron deficiency.
