Is peak flow always an indicator of how bad your asthma is? Mine is in normal range but my breathing feels shallow. Congestion maybe?
Usually: Peak flow is a good indicator of how much "obstruction" there is in your large airways, caused by inflammation. Normal means your asthma is well-controlled. I would need to know what you mean by "shallow" breathing.
