Not likely: Bacterial infections such as you describe do not usually result in interstitial lung diseases. If you had some fairly abnormal chest xray or ct scan with the infection, ct may be ordered in follow-up to evaluate for resolution of the infection or persistent interstitial abnormality. If abnormalities on imaging remain, you may need additional testing, but as i said, this would be pretty unlikely. ...Read more
