6w5d had a u/s that showed a sac yolk sac but no fetal pole or hb my hcg levels are normal and rising, is this normal?
I'm 6 weeks pregnant, my progesterone was 28.5 and it dropped to 18.9, my hCG levels are normal still, from 221 to 641. Why my progesterone levels dropped? Am i at high risk to loose my baby?
Don't panic: Although the Progesterone drop is a sign of concern in the first trimester, it does not automatically mean you will miscarry, but it does increase the chance. Some OBs would consider placing you on Progesterone therapy to raise your level in hopes of maintaining the pregnancy at least until the placenta is able to take over and produce the needed Progesterone to sustain it. I am 37.5 weeks pregnant. The hospital I went to shows no signs of a fetus. My hCG levels are normal and I have ultrasound pics from my doctor.?
???: Don't know what you mean "hospital shows no signs of a fetus". An ultrasound was done showing an empty uterus? "hcg levels are normal" - what does this mean? Hcg is not elevated, i.e., consistent with not being pregnant? If elevated, what's the level? Simply because you have sono pix from your doctor at some point doesn't mean you're still pregnant, but need more information. ...Read more
Had a miscarriage and I was following up with my Gyn until my HCg level went down to normal. If test is positive, am I pregnant?
Maybe: Time frame is important here. If its been a while that your HCG returned to normal and you've been having unprotected sex, then you could be pregnant. If the level has been trending down, there's still a window where your pregnancy test shows up +ve because your HCG is still detectable. So it depends. Good health. ...Read more
