On Meloxicam 7.5 mg for pain mgmt including 800mg Neuronton 3x, 5 mg flexeril (cyclobenzaprine hcl) 3x, . 2mg clonodine. What can I take for headache?
With that regimen...: Many of those can cause headaches when taken on a daily basis. I would discuss with your prescriber options for treatment. You could try Tylenol (acetaminophen) today but if you take it on a daily basis it can also cause rebound headaches as the other ones. I would suggest a Neurology consultation in order to treat pain and headaches as well. ...Read more

Is mobic, aciphex, (rabeprazole) flexeril, and a compounded cream with ketoprofen, baclofen, lidocaine all together safe?
Maybe not: There is a slight risk of combining the Mobic and the Ketoprofen. Those two meds are in the same class & could cause stomach ulcers or kidney damage (do NOT use if have kidney prob). We just don't know if enough of the Ketoprofen would be absorbed systemically to cause a problem. Aciphex (rabeprazole) protects against ulcers. The Flexeril and Baclofen are also in the same class and could cause sedation. ...Read more

You are taking 2 antiinflammatory medications-Toradol and Prednisone.
Percocet is narcotic for pain, it may cause restlessness and agitation.

Will Fioricet help with low back pain if I don't want to take Robaxin (methocarbamol) or Flexeril?
Tylenol (acetaminophen)...save it: Fioricet has Tylenol (acetaminophen) (and 2 other ingredients, butalbital and caffeine) in it, so the Tylenol (acetaminophen) may help your back. Save the Fioricet and just take Tylenol (acetaminophen). Brains get used to fioricet if it's used frequently and then headaches often get worse. ...Read more

Let me try: The management of cyclobenzaprine overdose should follow the same pathway as any tricyclic drug. Gastric decontamination is fairly effective because the anticholinergic effects of cyclobenzaprine delay gastric emptying and therefore it becomes possible to obtain tablet residues even after significant time elapse. When would flexeril (cyclobenzaprine hcl) be indicated for migraine treatment? Also, would it be daily dosing or a prn medication?
Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine hcl): Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine hcl) is a muscle relaxant & would be used if the migranes were being triggered by muscle tension which is uncommon since most migraines are vascular in nature. I would think if prescribed for migraines it would be prn but there are better choices if you have true migraine headaches that could prevent or treat them. ...Read more
I have sinus tachycardia what treatment options are out there? What is sinus tachycardia? Could this been caused by reaction to mobic?
Sinus tachycardia: Means your normal heart beat is faster than 100 BPM. This can be normal as the range of normal is 40 to 120. It is unlikely to be caused by mobic however pain can cause the heart rate to increase so the reason you are taking mobic might be the reason you are tachycardic. Treatment is to address the cause not the rate. Fever, dehydration, anxiety, anemia, pain can all cause this. ...Read more
