Irregular periods: Vitex is not a medication that I am familiar with. I see that it is an herbal supplement also called Chaste berry that makes claim to assist in cycle regulation although there is no good scientific evidence to support this. Typical with Plan B: Plan b essentially disrupts the normal menstrual cycle by blocking or delaying ovulation. That it is how it works and why it is so different than a medical abortion.
