Not necessarily: Too low a blood pressure is really relatively, as some people tolerate lower blood pressures better than others. If you don't feel fatigued, lightheaded, dizzy, or lightheaded while going from lying down to seated or seated to standing, then it's not too concerning at all. If you do have some of these symptoms you may want to review this with your doctor. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

I've been on mircette (ethinyl estradiol and desogestrel) birth control pills for 9 years with no period in 3 years. Is this ok?
No peroid on mircett: Yes, the longer you take a birth control pill and take it regularly, the lighter your period may become and eventually disappear. If you even spot one day during the proper time, it is considered a period. You have nothing to worry about. If you would like to have a period your dr. May prescribe some other hormones to take with your Mircette (ethinyl estradiol and desogestrel) and induce a cycle. ...Read more

27 M, RRMS since 5 yrs. Avonex since 2 yrs., ED is the main symptom. Viagra (sildenafil) not working. Early morning T levels 320ng/dl. Can MS patient take T supp?
Answers: If you have MS and ED, you may have spinal cord involvement as the culprit, so, would first focus on the MS. Get off Avonex, it is the least effective drug on the market, and may be contributing to your ED. Consider an oral agent such as Gilenya (fingolimod) or Aubagio. You certainly could take testosterone but there are risks and a urologist should get involved. Take vitamin D-3 supplements. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
What is better to treat low estrogen in 30 yr old female (6 p/mg), Premarin (conjugated estrogens) , estradiol or birth control?
Depends: If you have an intact uterus then I would use a birth control pill as it provides both the estrogen and progesterone you need to prevent pregnancy and endometrial hyperplasia. If you have had a hysterectomy than both premarin (conjugated estrogens) and estradiol (estrace) would be fine. The estrogen in birth control by the way is estradiol as well. Birth control also lowers ovarian cancer risk (combined pills only) ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Ask your Health Care Provider for a GOAL..just to say "change diet" is NOT enough info The trend is also for patients to achieve higher and higher HDL levels (using EXERCISE to obtain this is a good idea for HEART CONDITIONING! ...Read more
