My primary dr refused to order lupus or other immune disease tests.I have severe RA uncontrold 4 more than 9 months on all strong RA meds.Why refuses?

Severe ongoing fatigue (sleep 18-20 hrs 2x's/wk)- thyroid, vit d, iron all ok. Possible start of lupus or mixed connective disease, any connection?

Unlikely: If fatigue is the only issue, it is very unlikely that it results from a connective tissue disorder. Have you seen a rheumatologist? I would consult one. It could be chronic fatigue syndrome or numerous other issues. ...Read more

I would suggest you make an immediate in-person appointment with a Rheumatologist to evaluate the range of motion of your joints, any joint changes related to a myriad of causes.
