I had an ear infection, my doctor gave me Keflex. I started it today and noticed I have a swollen lymph node near my groin. Will the prescription help that?!
See below.: It depends what the swelling of the lymph node is from. If it is from a bacterial infection of the lymph node or another area close to the lymph node, it may help. However, you should go back to your doctor and have him/her check the lymph node and check you for the presence of any other swollen lymph nodes, especially if he/she only checked your ear/head and neck area. ...Read more
Ear pain. I've got a in date bottle of keflex. Can i take out for my ear infection? I'm 12 weeks pregnant and 22 yrs old. It hurts bad! thank you.
Is it safe to take a zpac for and ear infection after I just took augmentin for a sinus infection and keflex for a uti that I am currently still takin?

Should be fine: The symptom pattern you describe can be caused by viruses or bacteria. It emerged in spite of the Cipro, so we know if it is a bacteria it is resistant to that med. The Keflex is a good basic med and can work when taken concurrently. If you don't see improvement within 3 days contact your PCP. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
