Is Iui Safe For One Blocked Tubes
Statistically 1 /2: One blocked tube cuts the statistical chance of conceiving roughly in half, because only in cycles where ovulation matches the open tube do you have a realistic chance of conception. Iui will not help with this problem at all because it does nothing to change the tubal condition. ...Read more
Intrauterine insemination (iui) is where fresh or frozen partner or donor sperm is prepared or 'washed' to increase the sperm quality then gently injected through your cervix after a speculum exam, like a pap smear exam. It should be painless or cause mild cramping only. Iui helps with mild to moderate sperm problems. Iui preparations should have at least 2 million moving ...Read more
I have right tube blocked.had stimulated cycle two eggs on the right and one on the left. Can IUI work for me.
Yes, it can: a blocked tube reduces chances for a woman to become pregnant by maybe 20 %, not 50 %. And if in a stimulated cycle both ovaries show good follicles that is certainly a better scenario than having the follicles on the side of the blocked tube. But even so, there is a chance. ...Read more

Hello doc i m suffering from both tube blocked at cornual end now plan for hysterolaproscopy so can I do associated IUI a t the same time?
IUI won't work: If both your tubes are really blocked at the cornual ends (where they join the uterus) the IUI won't work as the egg and sperm can't get together. If one or both tubes was in spasm and not truly blocked then you still have a chance. Talk to your doctor - it's probably best to wait to see how your tubes look at the time of surgery before doing iuis. ...Read more

Had IUI done march 19th had us done today and found no sac or blastocyst or anything in tubes. Should i be worried my beta is 578 monday.
With a beta of 578: Would expect it to be a bit higher but hard to drawn any conclusions without having another value to compare to. In the absence of pain/ bleeding and risk factors for ectopic the odds are in your favor that this will could be a normal pregnancy. You should know that the baseline rate of miscarriage is 15% but again too early to drawn conclusions...Follwo up with ur obgyn. ...Read more
I have done IUI 4 times doctors has chckd my fallopian tubes as well after laproscopy and its all.Ok doctor is saying unxplned infertility wht shld do?
It is a choice: The success of IUI is a bell shaped curve and the average is 3-4 times and up to 6 attempts. By then, if IUI is not successful, it probably will not work and you need to look at other options i.e. Ivf. Make sure that no other causes have been missed and than decide is your money and emotions better spent on 2 more iui's or switching to ivf. Hope this helps. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
