See a urologist: If this is symptomatic do not put up with it. Get to the urologist. You can support your scrotum, have it aspirated, sclerosis of the scrotum lining or open surgery. Do not expect this to get better on its own.
At age 20, Scan revealed left epidymal cyst, left varicocele, small right hydrocele. Will this greatly affect fertility now in my 30's? Never treated.
Here are some. ..: Why did you have scrotal scan? For pain or something else? All the findings as described couldn't be clinically significant at all & require no intervention, at least for the time being, for the sake of your best interest and fertility if you can reasonably cope with potential mental & physical uneasiness. Why? Before acting, one has to consider the balance between medical necessity & possibility.
I read that cold hip bath can help a hydrocele. Is this true in any way at all? Does it have any benefit whatsover? Ik it won't cute it, but anything?
Here are some. ..: Without a detailed Hx, physical exam, and scrotal ultrasound, it's hard to confirm if you indeed have hydrocele, which would not be resolved by anything you may do except the temporary thing related with infection or inflammation. Have epipidymitis and a hydrocele as a result of a varicocele repair. I'm taking antibiotics. Can I treat the hydrocele with ibuprofen or other med?
No, it's just...: Ibuprofen just eases inflammation and lessens pain. But post-varicocelectomy epididymitis and hydrocele may not pose a significant negative impact to your life; then, it's probably worthwhile just to watch and see. But for the ramifying issues after varicocele surgery should be addressed in collaboration with your surgeon and at times seek a second opinion. Best wish...See 1 more doctor answer
Fluid in the scrotum: A hydrocele is a collection of fluid that accumulates between two layers of tissue called peritneum that surrounds the testis and spermatic cord. It results in swelling of the involved side of the scrotum and is sometimes painful. Causes vary from completely benign to more serious. It is thus very important that any new scrotal swelling be brought to your doctor's attention for further evaluation.See 3 more doctor answers

Here are some. ..: Normally, various small amount of fluid inside the space between scrotal wall and testis is alway present, and "hydrocele" is just incidentally "picked" up by US. Generally speaking, hydroceles causing no mental or physical stress or discomfort require no intervention. Can one cure it? No as far as I have known from 45-year study and practice in urology. More concern? Seel pro-evaluation. ..
No: The hydrocoels I see on a regular basis are in infants that seem unbothered by the process. Occasionaly parents bring in a baby boy whose been fussy & realize the scrotum seems enlarged. They assume the enlargement caused the fussiness, it is the opposite. A fussy baby can drive a little fluid into a communicating hydrocoel but on exam the structure is not tender. Most resolve without rx.See 1 more doctor answer
Ultrasound: You will need to see your doctor to be examined, and then have an ultrasound to verify it. If you have a change in your testicle, a lump or pain, swelling or redness, definitely you should see your doctor.See 2 more doctor answers
