No contraindications to having sex while treating such an infection though if symptomatic, best to defer sex until any irritation resolves. Misnomer: It's normal to have vaginal discharge every day. Every day. The vagina produces mucous every day. The nature of one's cervical mucous (you have to reach up there and touch the cervical mucous) does change at the time of ovulation.
