Not strange: The ovary starts producing Progesterone after ovulation. The Progesterone will cause the basal body temperature to rise about one-half degree fahrenheit. See below: Canestan cream (antifungal) generally used to treat vaginal yeast (Candida) infections. No contraindications to having sex while treating such an infection though if symptomatic, best to defer sex until any irritation resolves. Though I am not aware of any direct toxic effect of Canestan on sperm, any vaginal cream likely to inhibit sperm motility and decrease the chance of sperm reaching cervix. ...Read more

Misnomer: It's normal to have vaginal discharge every day. Every day. The vagina produces mucous every day. The nature of one's cervical mucous (you have to reach up there and touch the cervical mucous) does change at the time of ovulation. If, at 17, you're trying to conceive, which i wouldn't recommend, then an ovulation predictor kit is going to be more accurate. Please be safe. ...Read more
