Is It Safe While Pregnant To Use Advocare Products
When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more

I'm wanting to take something to boost my weight loss. I am looking into advocare. Is this a safe product to take?
Why: Would you want to put unknown chemicals into your body when you don't know what they are or what harm they could cause? Don't get your medical information from friends, tv or the internet. There are no supplements on the market that "boost" weight loss, they only steal your money. Try eating less and exercising more. It works, and it doesn't put stuff in your body or cost money. ...Read more
Is Advocare catalyst a safe product? Could it cause women to have ovarian cyst or fibroids? Just worried! Want to loose weight and feel energy!
Discuss with your Doc: This preparation contains 120 mg of caffeine and many vitamins and minerals. Not knowing your general health status or medications that you take, I think it would be best for you to discuss this with your family physician and bring a bottle of it in with you to his office so that he knows exactly what is in it. If he or she tells you that it's safe make sure you stick within the guidelines of how many per day he or she allows you to have. Best wishes to you. ...Read more
No contraindication: Any change in lifestyle can place a stress on ones life, including the start if a new diet. As long as you deal with the stress of the new diet, and do not relapse into using illegal drugs to cope, then it is fine. If you include the doctor in your healthy living/diet plans, then it would be even better. Best wishes. ...Read more
Advocare+ Accutane: Hello~ short answer YES its OK to take, but I read the 24d challenge on their site and I saw nothing that could be attributed to sound medical practice. The concept of biological "cleanse" is based on false premise. You cannot "cleanse" the bowel. If you did you would not be able to digest food. Using metamucil daily would do same and better. PURGING is bad! Thanks ...Read more

Can't know for sure: It is not a good idea to take anything with "health claims" or "medical claims" that is not an fda approved drug, because non-approved drugs and treatments may or may not have correct ingredients, and may or may not have pure ingredients. Also, the advertised effects may or may not occur in humans, plus the side effects are usually uncertain and unadvertised. It's safest to avoid marketing hype. ...Read more
Is it safe to take my 40 mg Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) while doing the Advocare 24 day challenge?
There was some: Controversy about one of advocare's products being tainted with clenbuterol, which can increase blood pressure by constricting blood vessels. Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) 's active ingredient, adderall, also increases blood pressure. Both are fda category c in pregnancy, meaning some effect on the fetus has been found. Check the ingredients in Advocare ; make sure you're not pregnant before starting Advocare products. ...Read more

I get anxiety attacks and heart palputations and my chest hurts after I drink caffiene. : (is it safe for me to take the Advocare 10 day cleanse?
Cleanse: Why do you think you won't get anxiety attacks when you start 'cleansing'? These things basically are diarrhea inducing agents, so when you start this you may trigger off anxiety or palpitations or both. It likely won't be dangerous but you are likely to react with anxiety. Another point is, there is no solid evidence that these 'cleanses' do anything really positive for you health wise. ...Read more
Recommend against: This. Cleansers can pull out toxins from tissues overly rapidly. This can make you feel ill. If you already have a bacterial infection and you add mobilized toxins to this mixture - you can seriously harm your health. ...Read more
Is it safe to use Advocare products while taking Adderal 15 and Effexor (venlafaxine) ER 75. Also taking an antibiotic for sinus infections - Biaxin. Thanks!
Advocare +meds: Hi ~ I looked this up the other day because another person asked. I did not see anything in the ingredients that would cause any problem with your meds. The only TOXIC issue was suggesting that the "colon cleanses" do any good at all. Frankly, I think its todays greatest scam. Use metamucil to bulk and increase roughage in diet and exercise. The GUT was designed by a genius. Its self cleansing! ...Read more
Is it safe to use Advocare products while taking Adderal 15 and Effexor (venlafaxine) ER 75. Also taking an antibiotic for sinus infections - Biaxin. Thanks so much!
No Advocare: I would not use Advocare. It is not FDA approved. It isn't proven to be safe or effective. Also, there are no "quick fixes" for weight control, getting energized, etc. Fad diets only result in the weight being gained back later after the diet is over. You are taking a relatively low dose of Effexor (venlafaxine). Have you asked your doctor about possibly increasing your dose, as well as about your other issues? ...Read more
Their energy drinks: Claim that, but energy drinks do not have to prove their claims. They are not drugs, and are not regulated as drugs, but are considered in the category of food supplements, and really only have to prove that they are reasonably safe. They mostly have vitamins (which really don't give you energy unless you are deficient in specific ones) and lots of caffeine. Good diet, rest, exercise are better. ...Read more

STOP...Don't do it!: Healthtap physicians have repeatedly addressed this subject with a clear "no" answer to your question. There is virtually no value to liver flushes, cleansers, enemas, irrigation machines when the technique is accomplished to "detox" or eliminate "accumulated waste" or for weight loss. There are few real health benefits but significant unjustified risk. Don't use cleanser please unless prescribed. ...Read more
