Multiple measures: You may use vitamin B6, Ginger Ale, Avoiding food that trigger nausea and see if those measures help. If persistant symptoms, try Reglan or Phenergan (promethazine). See you docto: That a lot of vomiting and as you vomit, you are losing vital electrolytes and water & if this keeps up & will end up being hospitalized. So, if you can't keep anything down, including water, call your doctor or be seen today at the urgent care center, and get medical help. CAN'T BE SURE: Emetrol is a phospholated carbohydrate solution and should be safe, but the only answer is that we can't be sure. It has never been tested in pregnant women and really can't be for ethical reasons. However, there really is not anything in it that would potentially cause problems in the first trimester. Every time I take liquid pepto I vomit. Currently on antibiotic (metro) for tooth infection - super nauseated. What can I take? Disallowed emetrol.
Conflict: Pepto Bismol (bismuth subsalicylate) can deactivate antibiotic. Report its use to the Dentist that prescribed the antibiotic. Antibiotic will not cure dental infection but will reduce its severity until you run out of pills, then infection worsens again. You need Root Canal treatment or Extraction.
