Is It Safe To Take A Fish Oil Supplement Since I Had Gastric Sleeve One Year Ago
Fish oils contain two active omega-3 fatty acids, dha and epa. Most fish oil products contain both dha and epa, but supplements enriched in dha or epa are available. Omega-3 fatty acids have been shown to significantly reduce sudden cardiac death. Some studies also indicate the potential for benefits in dementia and risk of heart attack. The omega-3 content of cold water ...Read more

Is it safe to take a multivitamin, probiotic, fish oil omega-3 supplement, apple cider vinegar, and psyllium husk for fiber together daily?
Yes: These are safe though I wouldn't take them all at once. I advise the multivitamin after breakfast, the probiotic at the start of a meal, the fish oil after lunch or dinner, apple cider vinegar in water separate from meals and the psyllium at bedtime. Some multivitamins are far better than others- see https://drrandybaker. Com/2012/11/ and https://www. Multivitaminguide. Org/best-multivitamin. Html ...Read more
Is it safe for my age 21 to take fish oil supplement? Just everyday? Is there no contraindication?
Eat wild salmon: It is far healthier to consume omega-3s from a natural source such as wild salmon than from fish oil or synthetic forms. The question is why are you taking this supplement in the first place? To reduce cholesterol? Anti-inflammatory? Anti-coagulant? Brain health? Whatever the reason, wild pacific salmon is still preferable. Don't buy into the hype that the pills are nearly as beneficial. ...Read more

Hi I am 16 years old I take supplements like scivation xtend and mp combat and vitamins and fish oil, is there any side effects on kidneys or height?
Why?: I went to each manufacturer's website to find the ingredients in your supplements. They are proteins (amino acids) high protein diets won't harm growth (height). It is injurious to diseased kidneys, but not harmful to normal kidneys. That said, you're paying premium prices: why not just eat fish, eggs, & steak? Your workouts with a healthy diet will do much more good than fancy supplements. ...Read more
Can you explain if it's safe to take C4 extreme with multivitamin, fish oil and calcium supplement?
C4: C4 is a supplement mixture with no data to support its use. Multivites, fish oil and calcium supplements have at least some reason to think they will be a positive action. I personally wouldn't recommend taking c4 but have no more data support not recommending it than there is to say it is beneficial. Eat a good diet and have a good exercise program, the supplements might or might not help. ...Read more

I am a heart patient. I had the "widow maker" 15 years ago. Since that time I have a pacemaker/defibrillator installed. I'm 64 years old. I take, as far as vitamins and supplements, fish oil twice daily, B Complex, Vitamin C and also a potassium pill
?: What is your question?Get a more detailed answer ›
I'm 21 years old what benefits will taking vitamin B12 pills and fish oil pills do for me? I need more energy. What supplements can I take? Thanks.
Living Life: I know of no physician that would recommend vitamins or supplements to a healthy 21 yo male. Energy comes from being active, getting good sleep unencumbered by alcohol or other drugs. The most accurate advice would also to be living a life that includes very little sugars and regular cardiovascular exercise. One should not assume that pills will give you good health. Good health activities do. ...Read more
I am taking herbal supplements fish oil, estrogen, multiple vitamin, hyaluronic acid, pumpkin seed oil. Are these safe to take with each other?
Not really, but why?: Who knows? They may not even be safe by themselves, as you never really know what's in them to begin with. Why are you taking them in the first place. What are you attempting to fix, and how are you going to tell if any of them help -- what criteria are you going to use. They will commonly interact adversely with other supplements and also with prescription meds. Avoid at all costs. ...Read more

They are safe if...: As I mentioned in my other answer, it's very unlikely you have low testosterone-other conditions with similar symptoms are much more likely. Ask you doc to test free & total testosterone levels. Zinc is safe to try. It can cause nausea; avoid taking more than 50 mg a day or it may impair immune function & cause low copper.
