Possibly: The e-cig is probably better than the regular cigarettes- less tar and other pollutants. BUT it still has nicotine and other chemicals in the fluid which may or may not irritate your lungs. Not very much research has been done on these to know for sure. If you can, use the e-cig to gradually wean yourself off of nicotine entirely. That would be best for your health! ...Read more

Airways problem : Can it be asthma, possibly, see your doctor or an asthma specialist, you may benefit by using bronchodilator inhalers (needs prescription) for now as needed or before exercising till fully evaluated. Unknown: Longterm effects of e-cigarettes are not known since they are relatively new. They may be safer than traditional cigarettes from a cancer standpoint but effects of nicotine on your health can be dangerous as well. ...Read more

High probability: Even smoking a few cigarettes daily may adversely affect your results. It may cause irreversible damage to your lungs. Carbon monoxide in tobacco smoke has a higher affinity to hemoglobin (an oxygen carrying molecule in the blood) than does oxygen. We don't know.: E-cigarettes are not recommended as a quitting aid. They are not regulated, we don't know much about the levels of nicotine and other chemicals, and there is no research that shows that they help smokers quit.
