Yes: Most of us who provide IV chelation therapy recommend 1-2 treatments per week, for a series of 10-30 treatments, or until the desired benefit is obtained (usually 20-30 treatments), followed by monthly "maintenance" treatments thereafter. Adverse effects are rare, if kidney function is normal--and kidney function generally improves with proper dosage of edta. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
Chelation is the name for administering a substance to remove heavy metals from the body. It can be an important treatment for lead poisoning or iron overload. It is also touted by some for the treatment of autism spectrum disorders, based on the idea that these children may have toxicity from mercury or other heavy metals. However, there is little evidence to support this hypothesis. Chelation agents bind metals nonspecifically and may result in dangerously low levels of calcium, iron, and magnesium, in addition to toxic heavy metals. Thus, ...Read more
Try miralax (polyethylene glycol): The truth is that stool softeners work when used here and there. If used regularly, they loose their potency and become ineffective. For regular relief MiraLAX (polyethylene glycol) is far superior. It is a white powder mixed in a liquid of choice that can be used regularly, has virtually no taste, and is not habit forming. One caveat-if you have had a change in your bowel habits, see your doctor. ...Read more

I have consulted a dermatologist and he has given me a steroid composition, but is it safe to use it for a prolonged time?
Probably not: Consistent long-term steroid use on the skin is harmful. That being said, your dermatologist is well aware of the risks, can explain them to you in more detail if you wish, & has a plan in mind to fit your condition that in most cases would not require using the steroid cream long-term. Hope that helps. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

No: No aircraft, especially commercial aircraft are not "hardened" against radiation, mainly because they don't fly high enough to receive substantial radiation from the sun or space.
