Does not matter: If you are beta strep + once u automatically get treated with antibiotics with your next labor, whether you are + or not because sometimes the culture can miss a + one so the rule is once you have been + then u get antibiotics anyway but u will still be tested no big deal. ...Read more

Pregnant women go through transient periods where it is present & the disappears but rarely have any problem other than a UTI with it. Maybe risky: GBS mostly resides in the vagina, and might cause fallopian tube infection if flushed into the tubes when Femvue is injected. Make sure your doctor knows of your GBS infection, also the radiologist who may be actually doing the test. It may be safe, especially if your infection has been treated for a few days.
