Yes: There is definitely concern for 2nd hand smoke when women are pregnant. Obviously, definitely not as unhealthy as smoking yourself, but most physicians are going to recommend that you avoid 2nd hand smoke when pregnant. If someone near you is smoking indoors, you can ask politely if they would smoke outside. If you are outside, obviously, consider moving away from the smoke. Hope that helps ...Read more

No: Moving away from smoking cigarettes when you are pregnant is a very good idea. Replacing them with E-cigarettes .. not so much. There is still some nicotine, quite harmful to the baby & placenta, in E-cigarettes and, as they are not regulated, the amount is unknown ... in some E-cigs it might be more!
