More reflux!: The more food in your stomach, the higher the pressure, and more reflux. Eat smaller meals, and stay upright for at least an hour afterwards. Avoid tomatoes, citrus, chocolate, caffeine, peppermint, alcohol, and fatty foods -- these all make reflux worse. Make sure you take a powerful acid blocker (prilosec/prevacid) to avoid acid damage on the esophagus (and cancer!). Good luck!

Is Diclofenac safe to take if you have acid reflux and stomach problems? I also have high blood pressure?

Is Diclofenac safe to take if you have acid reflux and stomach problems? I also have high blood pressure?

Avoid this NSAID: Diclofenac is an NSAID like ibuprofen and naproxen. If you have stomach problems like reflux, or worse a history of stomach ulcers, I would advise you to avoid NSAIDS. I advise all who take NSAIDS to take them with food to help protect the stomach and intestine. Regarding effects on blood pressure, NSAIDS have an effect on the kidneys that can lead to high blood pressure.
