Not advised: Drinking on an ssri antidepressant can make depression or anxiety persist ("fighting" the treatment). It increases seizure risk. Can make alcohol feel stronger, impairing driving and similar activities more than expected. The standard rule: avoid all alcohol. That said, people use ssris for months or years; some use alcohol occasionally in small amts and are ok. Weigh the risks. ...Read more

How long does it take for 10mg Paracodin to leave your body and how long after taking is it safe to drink alcohol?
Paracodin: It can take up to 20 hours for Paracodin to fully leave your body. The earlier you drink alcohol before that, the riskier the prospect when it comes to coordination issues like dizziness, which will impact walking and especially driving. As always, avoid driving or using dangerous machinery (as you would with alcohol anyway). ...Read more
4-6 hours IF: You are not talking about taking EXCESSIVE amounts of alcohol. The combination of alcohol and opioids (including codeine) increases the chance of side effects and sedation. ...Read more

If you are sick enough to be on an antibiotics, you should not drink alcohol. ...Read more
Within reason: Hi. Vyvanse (lisdexamfetamine) has the potential for dependence and abuse. I assume you're using it for a valid purpose under the direction of your doctor. Alcohol of course also has the potential for dependence and abuse. One being a stimulant and the other being a depressant, they are safe together as long as not done in excess. I suggest you not drive at all. Good luck! ...Read more
