Coach said my daughter has tendinitis in her right knee supposed to run 5K in the morning. And soccer game on Sunday. Can she participate. 15yrs.
Knee pain: If she is in a lot of pain, she will not be able to run or participate in the game, doing that will cause more pain & damage , she shoud rest that knee, wear supportive sleeve, ice or hot pk which ever works for her, take aleve (naproxen) or ibuprofen for pain, if pain persisted she should consult an orthopedic. It usually takes backing off from the activity that caused in, relative rest then going back to activity slowly and in increments.
