it may mean that: Your foot got really bruised and it take a few weeks for hte bruisng to begin to go away but it is dependent upoi=n how much bruisng you started with , your general health and circulation, how swollen you were, how agresviley you iced or elvated to reduce swelling and bruising initially. And certainly of bruising is going away and then comes back then one needs to get reevaluated. ...Read more

Spondylolisthesis: was always there long before the boot was on your foot. Likely the change in your gait caused it to pinch the nerve exiting out of that level. I would suggest you see a pain/spine fellowship trained specialist. You may be a candidate for an epidural steroid injection. ...Read more

Yes, but.....: A painful bump from trauma is usually a good reason to get checked by your doctor or urgent care. However, a presumed fracture that is 3 weeks old has likely "partially" healed. Nonetheless, best to have it checked as a non-union of a fracture could be occurring. Btw-whether one has insurance or not does not play a role in what is best for health. ...Read more
