Can I have withdrawal symptoms from stopping neurontin 600mg TID & seroquel (quetiapine) 300mg PM cold turkey together by order of dr? Was taking for bipolar.

Absolutely!: There would definitely be a risk of withdrawal symptoms from stopping both of those medications abruptly. A slow taper is better - I usually take people off one medication at a time if I'm trying to get rid of both altogether. ...Read more

How long can the withdrawal symptoms last for percocets?

Depends: Depends on how much you are taking before you stop taking anymore. If your taking a lot and stop, the withdrawal symptoms will be much more intense and longer than someone taking a very small amount. ...Read more

Was on 300mg gabapentin 3 times a day for 30 days. Odds of having nasty withdrawal symptoms?

You don't say what: you are on it for, unless it is being prescribed off-label for headache, or to augment your antidepressant. Neither of these purposes are indications for gabapentin. In general, withdrawal symptoms are mild and few and far between, but I ALWAYS recommend tapering off any anticonvulsant medication, and NEVER stopping them suddenly unless there is a severe side effect. ...Read more

However, at your dose, even if you stopped completely all at once, it is unlikely to produce serious withdrawal symptoms or signs. ...Read more

How to tell whether its withdrawal or pain from an actual condition? I'm getting off of my meds, Xanax & Neurotin (daily) and Percocet 325 as needed. I am so weak and in pain- weaning off first two and no Percocet at all since it was only as needed.

Need more info: More details are needed. How much of Xanax (alprazolam) and Neurontin were you taking prior to the wean? How fast are you weaning? When you say you were taking Percocet "as needed," how frequently were you doing so? Are you doing this on your own, or under the guidance of your physician? Are you on any other medications? Make sure you are being monitored by your doctor(s) closely. ...Read more
