Is it possible to have my hair back right after chemo?

Is it possible to have my hair back right after chemo?

First you have to be over chemo, and then your bodily metabolism has to restart the hair growth. Generally you will see a start about 4 weeks after chemo is over but it may take up to 6 months to get a decent crop. This may vary a little with chemo type so ask your onc. ...Read more

Pain on my left side around my ovary area. I had a laprascopy to remove my fallopian tube on that side earlier this year due to a simple cyst. Not intense pain. But continual. Should I get it checked out or is it nothing to worry about?

Get checked: Might you have had the cyst removed from the ovary rather than the Fallopian tube? If so, your pain could be another cyst. If you are having pain where you had a previous surgery, I recommend that you see your surgeon and let them tell you it's nothing to worry about. ...Read more

My hair grows faster on my right side. To the point my hair is not even. But when i had it cut it was even. This happens every time now. What's wrong?

No worry: Hair, like other parts of your skin and nails which cover and protect your body from the environment can grow at different rates for many reasons. Blood flow is the suspected reason for your third finger nail to grow the fastest. Cowlicks or twirls of hair grow slowly . Don't worry, and enjoy your head of hair, no matter how it grows. ...Read more

Do I have pancreatitis I have had this pain for 3 weeks that is on my right side that starts in the front and radiates to the back. It is not a constant pain but gets worse when i eat. Should i go to the hospital?

Hello. : Hello. I would like to start by telling you that i cannot diagose the source of your pain. The pancreas is a gland behind the stomach that secretes digestive enzymes into the GI tract pancreatitis is inflammation the pancreas. There can be acute pancreatitis or chronic pancreatitis. Symptoms of pancreatitis can include nausea, vomiting, weight loss and fatty looking bowel movements. There can be a yellow hue to the whites of the eyes or even to the skin as well as feeling clammy, fevers, chills, sweating and weakness. Pain from pancreatitis can start in the upper part of the abdomen and can also affect the back. The abdomen can be tender to the touch and can become extended. Pancreatic pain can feel worse after eating. My understanding is that the pain from pancreatitis can be very severe. If you have moderate to severe abdominal pain, i would recommend that this be medically evaluated. If you had acute pancreatitis for three weeks, you would probably be very ill, and most likely would have already sought care. I hope that this is helpful. ...Read more

Is it possible for a tonsillitis to move to the left side from a swollen right side after medicating? I don't feel anything on my right, it moved.

Is it possible for a tonsillitis to move to the left side from a swollen right side after medicating? I don't feel anything on my right, it moved.

Not exactly moving: tonsils resides on both sides and infections generally involve both. The level of symptoms varies with symptoms and where along the progress of the infection you are. The progress of symptoms during the first 12-24 hours of treatment are mostly predetermined by where you, or each tonsil separately, is on the time/severity timeline. Either way you should be better in 3-5 days or see your doctor. ...Read more

Rashless shingles: It is a common misconception that one has to have a rash to be diagnosed with shingles.
