Is It Possible To Get The Hpv Virus Even If You Are Not Sexually Active
Human Papillomavirus (HPV) is the most common sexually transmitted infection. There are over 100 different types of HPV that causes warts in different areas of the body. HPV is incredibly common and almost all sexually active men and women get it during their lifetime. Most of the time HPV does not cause any symptoms or complications. However, A limited number of these HPV viruses are pathogenic and if not monitored carefully can be responsible for causing cervical and penile cancer. Some of these viruses have been ...Read more
Makes no difference: The only thing known that seems to help the immune system clear HPV any faster is to avoid smoking. Treating visible warts may speed things up as well. Nothing else is known to help. and certainly avoiding sex won't make any difference, although of course that would reduce your risk of other HPV infections. You definitely should be vaccinated against HPV if not yet done. ...Read more

Hello. : Hello. There are many different strains of human papilloma virus (hpv). They cause warts. For instance hpv1 is a cause for warts on the feet (plantars warts). You could have hpv on your thumb - that means you have a wart. Saying that someone has hpv doesn't mean that it has to be sexually spread or on the genitals. I hope this was helpful. Take care. ...Read more

Why don't i get my period? I'm 19 and not sexually active. I get my period once every three or four months and it's extremely painful. I can't even stand because the pain is so bad. What could this be?
When : When did you first start your period? Within the first 2-3 years of starting a period, a young woman may not have regular monthly ovulations which can lead to an irregular period. This is completely normal and nothing for you to worry about. Over the next few years, your period will become more regular. If you did start your period more than 3 years ago, there are other reasons besides pregnancy that can cause a woman to miss a period such as: stress, diet, excessive exercise or a hormone imbalance such as with a thyroid disorder or polycystic ovarian syndrome. You've got 2 reasons to call your doctor - for the irregularity of your period and for the pain you experience. Your doctor will take a thorough history and physical and may run some tests to find out why your period is irregular. Often your period can be regulated (and be made less painful!) by using hormonal birth control such as the pill or depo shot. Good luck! ...Read more

Bumps: it could be a reaction of the skin in that area to the trauma of shaving.
