Can a man get an std from oral sex if a person has the infection in there mouth and pass it to their penis HELP PLEASE?

Yes, mostly low risk: Low risk for most STDs, much lower than vaginal or anal sex, zero risk for some. HIV no risk; cases have been susepcted but none proved. Main risks are gonorrhea, nongonococcal urethritis, and herpes due to HSV1. Syphilis possible, mostly in MSM. Little risk for HPV, HSV2 or viral hepatitis. If exposed or symptoms (penile discharge or sore) both partners need to be examined and tested.

Can you get a STD from giving oral sex and did not have a cut in the mouth?

Absolutely!: Hi Charles, Your question is a great one. Yes indeed you can contract an STD from having oral sex. In my practice I have treated oral Gonorrhea, Chlamydia, Syphilis and Herpes. This is why we recommend oral sex with condoms or a dental damn. There should always be a barrier between you and a potential STD! Thanks

STD: Not necessarily so, for example Herpes Virus 1 and 2 can affect both the genitals and lips and one does not need to have an active outbreak to be contagious.

Can you get std's in your mouth that cause symptoms of inflamed sore gums that bleed constantly and receed from your teeth? Only started after oral.

Can you get std's in your mouth that cause symptoms of inflamed sore gums that bleed constantly and receed from your teeth? Only started after oral.

Possible: When we speak of std's we are referring to chlamydia, syphilis, gonorrhea, & hiv. Oral sex may result in sore throat which affects the nasopharynx. Any one of these diseases can produce symptoms of irritation associated with bacterial or viral infection. Bleeding gums are a sign of gingivitis or periodontitis which is in itself a low grade infection. You should be tested for std's.

Need STI screening: Unprotected oral sex (given or received i.e. fellatio or cunilingus) associated with unprotected sexual-genital intercourse with someone who may be an oral or genital carrier of a sexually transmitted infection, does place you at risk for a STI in your oropharynx and in your pelvis. Consult a Gyn or an Infectious Disease doctor who specializes in screening and treatment of STIs to seek answers.

What STDs can you transfer by mouth and or saliva I want to know what dieases you can get by mouth?

Nearly all: Most std's can be transmitted via oral routes. Some have higher virulence (catch-ability) than others. If you think you've come in contact then get tested or if you currently have one please be honest with anyone you may be intimate with. Visiting a doctor can be the quickest way to get the answers you desire.

Don't know: There is no way to tell without examining your throat. If there are lesions around your mouth or inside then an MD examine can tell you.

If I had oral sex a month ago and I swallowed the cum and I think I contracted a std wouldn't my mouth be a mess or there are no symptoms?

If I had oral sex a month ago and I swallowed the cum and I think I contracted a std wouldn't my mouth be a mess or there are no symptoms?

STD after oral sex: Oral sex does carry the risk of contracting an STD and it unfortunately there isn't much data on the risk of STD from simply swallowing sperm. Oral sex puts you at risk if your partner had any sores on his penis and they can be asymptomatic HIV risk from oral is extremely low. Knowing your partner is the best suggestion. See ttp://www. If you gets genital STD can you get it in your mouth without any sexual contact?

If you gets genital STD can you get it in your mouth without any sexual contact?

NO: Usually, there has to be contact with infected fluid. Unknowingly, you may touch the infected genital fluid with your hands and later touch your mouth, which may spread the infection (especially with herpes).

Can std's from giving oral affect your genitals or will they just affect your mouth?

Can std's from giving oral affect your genitals or will they just affect your mouth?

Grow where planted: The transfer of germs through intimate contact is similar to a farmer planting a crop. Germs grow where they are planted. If the germs are introduced into the oral cavity, that's where they are likely to show up. If they are in the fluids transferred during sexual activity, any place those fluids touch may be affected.
