Is it possible to get a tummy tuck at the age of 63?

See MD first : You should have your real age evaluated and your overall health assessed as well as your candidacy for general anesthesia and preoperative risks. How long should I wait to have a tummy tuck afterc section and what do u tjthink about tummy tucks (witch hazel)?

It depends: I perform a significant number of tummy tucks (witch hazel) each year for my young mothers and feel that this is a great procedure when done by a qualified plastic surgeon with experience in this area. I generally recommend waiting a few months following a c-section so that soft tissue swelling has gone done and your hormones have returned to a more natural state. ...Read more

Homework needed: There are many resources available online. Most plastic surgeons, like myself, have information on tummy tucks (witch hazel) available on their web site. This can provide good general information about the procedure, what it fixes, what it doesn't and the usual recovery. However, there is no substitute for an in-person consultation with a quailified surgeon. Research your doctor, more than your procedure. ...Read more
