Maybe 'feeling good': People might not get "high" but might "feel better" from exercising. More fluids: Assuming that by "low workout" you mean a light workout, I recommend that you increase your fluid intake. On the day of a workout drink electrolyte mixtures like Gatorade or Powerade, and every day make sure you get plenty of fluids. Also be sure to eat enough calories per day. 220-age = Max: You are achieving your maximal heart rate which isn't necessarily bad but also not additionally beneficial. You will achieve similar benefit from attaining and maintaining 85% which would be around 150 BPM. Back down your routine just a little. You are 44 not 22. Unclear question: What do you mean by bmp? If it is basic metabolic panel, what component of the panel is high? Did you increase the intensity of exercise gradually? How old are you?
