Is it possible for your eyes to fall back into your head?

Is it possible for your eyes to fall back into your head?

Not at all: The eyes sit in the eye socket (orbit), which has a cone shape formed by the skull bones. The tip of the cone points back toward the brain and has a hole that is much smaller than the eyeball. Also, the eye is tethered in place by muscles, so it cannot fall into the head. Trauma to the face can break the bones in the floor of the orbit and the eye can sink down a little, but it cannot fall back.

Sleep disorder: You may be experiencing episodic sleep apnea, but I would wonder if there is some seizure activity. Do believe you should see a sleep specialist and undergo an overnight sleep study. If indeed you have sleep apnea, and a clue might be snoring, you could benefit from a c-pap unit. Get all of this evaluated, you will be far more satisfied.

Take flecainide. Woke up in middle of night and as trying to fall back asleep, felt really sick. Kept getting overwhelming feeling of dizziness/lightheadness even with eyes closed. Also feel a tiny bit lightheaded during day at times. Normal side effect?

See your doctor: You are taking flecinide. You have a heart condition. Possibly atrial fibrillation or flutter etc. The medication has side effects but you may also be going back into the bad rhythm at night or throughout day. The dizziness etc. See your doctor about having a monitor placed to tell what is going on when you feel bad.

Spinning sensation: Glad you saw an ENT and that he/she said you are ok medically. Yes, anxiety can produce these symptoms. Continue to have your doctor monitor you and please see a mental health professional who can teach you some anxiety management skills. Peace and good health.

I have blood shot eye after as fall hitting the back of head?

I have blood shot eye after as fall hitting the back of head?

Can you see normally: Trauma to the head can cause some bleeding at the eye even if the eye is not actually hit. If you can see normally, the blood shot appearance can clear on it's own.

62 years old. I am waking up many times at night and at least once a night I can't fall back to sleep for one or 2 hours after that. Skin crawling?

See a doctor: Your symptoms do not seem to be issues that should be ignored. I would see your dr. Asap for potential tests and history.

How effective / successful are hair restoration procedures for men (planting hair in the scalp, etc.)? Won't the hair just fall back out later?

How effective / successful are hair restoration procedures for men (planting hair in the scalp, etc.)? Won't the hair just fall back out later?

Very successful: Hair transplants work well. Consult someone who specializes in follicle or micro hair transplants as these work best and give the most natural hair line. The transplanted hair will fall out but if done properly a new hair will regrow from this area.

Fall onto hard kitchen floor over week ago on my left side caused black eye, have now increased pain under right rib wall, Radiating to middle back.

Get examined by Dr.!: You might even need an xray to make sure you haven't fractured a rib during your trauma. Plus, you need to be seen by the eye doctor to make sure you didn't cause injury to your eye, or have an eye fracture. This has to be seen in person. The rib connects from the spine (mid back?)to the sternum, depending on the Rib #. So get seen soon, and get relief!

What causes your eyes to sink back in your head within a couple weeks?

What causes your eyes to sink back in your head within a couple weeks?

Please elaborate?: Eyes should be in your head! When lying down the fat pads cushion the orbits so the eyes can do this easily. That's normal. Not sure under what condition you are referring to other than physiological normal state?

Why is it that my eyes keep rolling in the back of my head when I concentrate?

Why is it that my eyes keep rolling in the back of my head when I concentrate?

See an ophthalmologist: That really makes little sense. When we close our eyes they roll upward which is a normal phenomena known as Bell's phenomena. However this would not occur while concentrating unless you were closing your eyes. This symptom complex does not fit any pattern so you may wish to get evaluated by your physician.

I have pain on my back side of my head and feeling cold and also feeling cold on my eyes? What is it? : (

Head congestion: You may have acute sinusitis or rhinosinusitus, which means that there is fluid building up inside the sinus located on the facial bones, as well as nose. Its most often due to "allergic rhinitis" or a viral infection. Sometimes, it can be infected with bacteria and rarely with fungus. Please get ENT exam by your physician. You may need x-ray or a ct-scan if your doctor thinks appropriate.
