Look for cause: Her docs need to look for the cause of her recurrent utis. I would also suggest being evaluated by a chinese medicine practitioner or homeopath as they can help prevent future problems. Pediatric urologist: Good idea. Your daughter may have an anatomic bladder problem wetting so frequently so it is worth having a kidney and bladder ultrasound plus a voiding cysto-urethrogram. Some pediatric urologists can schedule both studies plus consultation in a single visit. She may have a very small bladder, bladder reflux or some other anatomic cause for wetting. Common for 3-y-olds: Daughter is still very young & likely has a normal small bladder. Has urge incontinence. Many 3-y-o kids still in diapers. Frequency could be due to acidic fruit juices, food/beverage coloring or consuming lots of liquids.Only slight chance of overactiove bladder. Don't need to repeat urinalysis if it was white blood cell & bacteria free.Tincture of time should cure this. See pedi urologist if not. ...Read more

Antibiotic Choice: For UTI depends on the urine culture and sensitivity report. Azithromycin is not the first line of treatment for uti.
