Symptoms of tummy pains and cramping followed by what looks like a light period which can be red or brown are sometimes signs of a possible miscarriage, I would go to your doctor and have them help you and diagnose the issue. If not, did u continue the pregnancy, have a miscarriage, or an abortion? It is not uncommon early in pregnancy to stain brown due to implantation, or to do so soon after a miscarriage or elective abortion.
