Same diff: Same class (iii) and are equianalgesic (eg 1 5/325 vicodin = 1 t#3). Vicodin has hydrocodone, man made Codeine good for people who can't tolerate codeine. Sad thing? Usa = 2% of worlds population, uses 98% of the worlds vicodin prescriptions. Be careful about using short-acting narcotics for non-malignant pain. It's generally a bad long-term answer. ...Read more

Depends: If you've seen a dentist and you were prescribed vicodin for your toothache, no problem. In fact, alternating it with advil (ibuprofen) may increase comfort. If you have some left over from another issue, best to see a dentist first to assess your situation. Vicodin may mask your symptoms making diagnosis more challenging. Hard to say: The TSH alone does not suggest that but do not know if the T4 and t3 (liothyronine) are total or free values. You can have all the thyroid values in the normal range and still have symptoms if you have elevated thyroid antibodies. Very often only part of the labs are done and the autoimmune component is missed. You may need additional labs done as your symptoms are consistent with thyroid disease. ...Read more
