Yes, they can: I usually prescribe a nerve pain agent and muscle relaxant together. Some caution when they are taken together, you may have increased sedation, so you should not drive to see what effect the medication has.

Can I take dhea and lyrica (pregabalin) together?

Can I take dhea and lyrica (pregabalin) together?

Yes, with caution.: According to the medscape interaction checker, there are no known interactions between these two substances, and there are probably no additional risks to taking them together. Always remain cautious, however. You see, medicines in general, and especially supplements, sometimes have side effects or interactions that are not adequately studied or reported. Sometimes they just show up unexpectedly.

Is it ok to take Lyrica (pregabalin) and Neurontin? I use Neurontin to help me sleep at night. Won't take together just same day

Is it ok to take Lyrica (pregabalin) and Neurontin? I use Neurontin to help me sleep at night. Won't take together just same day

Avoid both for sleep: These medications will cause sleepiness but as a side effect. They can cause or worsen already existing sleep problems, not to mention affect your alertness while you are awake. If your problem falling asleep is due to pain, you will need better control of that during the day. Insomnia can result and sleep hygiene is the best way to help you sleep and may be combined with a safer sleep medication.

Is it okay to take orlistat if you are taking valproic acid?

Is it okay to take orlistat if you are taking valproic acid?

Categorically NO: If the valproate is for seizure control, I would definitely not recommend you take orlistat. Valproate is a prescription and should be given for a definite purpose. Orlistat is going to move things throug the bowel faster, inhibit fat absorption and can case mal-absorption of fat soluable vitamins in the diet. You end up pooping oil. If you do this, you should be under strict care of your doc.
