You can.: Probably best not to skip it to avoid any irregularity. Otherwise, not a problem. Some folks take OCP's such that they only experience quarterly menstrual periods. Seasonique is an example. ...Read more

You can: IF you have a 21 pill pack start a new pack the next day. If this is a 28 pill pack then start your new pack on day 22. This usually (not always leads to having a very short of no period). Its called continuous pill use. If may not work well if you don't want a cycle this month. Please tell us about why you were amenorrheic for 3 years (if known), what made periods resume (if known), and any other symptoms (male hair growth, breast milk production, headache, etc).
