Is It Ok To Use Ky Yours And Mine While Pregnant
When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more
Is it safe to use KY his and hers lubricant during pregnancy? The box says avoid use if pregnant or breastfeeding unless prescribed by Doctor. I have preeclampsia and just want to be safe.
Lubricants: Lubricants such as KY jelly are safe for use in pregnancy. You need to clarify with your doctor what your treatment plan is for preeclampsia. This is a much bigger issue. Usually people are on bedrest, in the hospital or require delivery when they have preeclampsia. You probably are not supposed to be having sex if sick with this disease. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
I know pree seed is good lubricant to use when trying to conceive but is hypoallergenic lube ok to use or does it not help?
Pre-seed is better: Most lubricants - including k-y jelly, vaseline and saliva (spit), are toxic to sperm. This includes natural oils like olive oil as well. Having said that many couples use lubricant and still conceive - it may be more of a factor if a guy has a low sperm count or motility (% of swimmers) compared to guys with normal sperm count. Your body's own lubrication is higher around ovulation time as well. ...Read more

The thing is doctor, that my patient is using bdzs and I want to switch them... So I was wondering if melatonine is good as trazodone?
Not the same at all: Melatonin, trazodone, and benzodiazepines are 3 different things -- & neither melatonin nor trazodone can be used to "switch" from a benzodiazepine. Benzo needs to be tapered very gradually itself, or sleep disturbance and withdrawal could result. Melatonin is not specifically a sedating agent, but trazodone could be used in that way. Melatonin can help initiate sleep but not help stay asleep. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
I am currently trying for a baby. Is KY jelly ok to use or does it stop the sperm? Can u recommend any or lube that is better
Getting pregnant: Ky jelly can inhibit sperm motility and movement, as can other popular sexual lubricants like astroglide and vaseline. This effect is not significant enough to imply that these lubricants would be effective birth control agents, but every factor is important if you have fertility concerns. Vegatable oil or peanut oil does not seem to impair sperm movement, and can be used as a lubricant. ...Read more
I take l-argenine for improved blood flow to the penis and it works! It aggravates my mild asthma some, but I tolerate it. Is it ok to keep taking?
Not a good idea: Endogenous nitric oxide (NO) is involved in the pathogenesis of asthma and can lead to inflammation and contraction of the airways. NO is actually produced by the metabolism of L-arginine. So if you are supplementing with this substance, you could in theory increase the NO in your body leading to worsening asthma symptoms. http://www.mayoclinic.org/drugs-supplements/arginine/safety/hrb-20058733 ...Read more
